FTP 2000

Together with the 29 JAIIO (Jornadas Argentinas de Informática e Investigación Operativa), held in Tandil in September 2000, and with the goal of providing a framework for interaction and discussion between graduate students in Computer Science, the Foro de Tesistas de Postgrado FTP 2000 took place. As part of the activities of the forum, a Thesis Contest was organized, differentiating between PhD and Masters. An Evaluation Committee was designated, formed by Dr. Marcelo Frías (UBA), Dr. Javier Blanco(UNC), Prof. Jorge Aguirre (UNRC) and myself.

Eight works were presented, among which the committee selected two in each category, inviting the authors to send abstracts to be published in EJS. The selected Thesis were:
