Un Sistema de Programación del Transporte Forestal Principal Objetivando la Minimización de Costos
A Transportation Scheduling System (TSS) of forest multi-products was
developed. The TSS is composed of two modules. The first module has as
finality the global minimization of the transportation costs corresponding
to the loaded trips, and uses the Transportation Method. The second module
has as finality the entire trip scheduling for each contracted truck of the
fleet. The Trucks Designation Algorithm (TDA) uses Dynamic Programming. As
benefits, 1) the TMA minimizes the total transportation costs, and 2) the
TDA, reducing the idleness of each truck, offer an important negotiation
tool to force a decreasing process in the transportation prices.
