Postdoc. in the Univ. of Southampton, UK, under Prof. R. Parsons, I worked on hydrogen adsorption onto platinum single crystals.

Campos de interés:

- Interacción de sustancias húmicas y partículas minerales del suelo con cationes metálicos y superficies. Retención de contaminantes en suelos.
- Polímeros conductores, su síntesis y propiedades: electroquímica, comportamiento electroquimiomecánico, fotofísica.
Transporte iónico en sistemas complejos, con aplicación a patrones de crecimiento en electrodeposición y tratamiento electroquímico de tumores. Dirigido conjuntamente por el Dr. Guillermo Marshall (Depto. de Computación) y yo.

Field of interest:

Interaction of humic substances and soil mineral particles with metal cations and surfaces. Pollutant retention in soils.
Conducting polymers, their synthesis and properties: electrochemistry, electrochemomechanical behavior, and photophysics.
- Ionic transport in complex systems, with application to growth patterns in electrodeposition and electrochemical treatment of tumors, conducted jointly by Dr. G. Marshall (Computing Science Dept.) and me.
